Singer-Songwriter and Recording Artist, Ke’Erron discovered his passion for singing at the age of 8 while serving in his local church. He currently serves the community as a Worship Pastor at Higher Dimension Church in Houston, TX. Coming from a home without a father, it was in God’s presence where everything changed for him - he encountered the Father’s Love. This moment has marked the course of his life forever.

Being raised in Trinidad and America has given Ke a heart for nations and various cultures. From 2010 to 2016, he had the opportunity to serve at a Bilingual church where he learned to fluently speak and lead worship in Spanish.
Ke’Erron has been writing original worship music since 2010. His first musical release was in 2012.
“You Deserve”, Sims’ 2013 single, brought a greater level of exposure for his music ministry. Since its release, it has been picked up by worship teams across the U.S. and Latin America. The single was also translated in Spanish and recorded by Artist, Evan Craft. In his years of recording, Ke’Erron has been influenced by worship artists such as Bethel, Travis Greene, Elevation Worship, Leeland, Cory Asbury, Dante Bowe & Brandon Lake.
Seven years into his music career, Ke’Erron was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, an auto-immune disease, and later developed Stage 4 Liver Cirrhosis, in which both diseases are considered to be incurable. However, enduring his health hardships, with Jesus, has given Ke’Erron greater perspective of his purpose.
“There were so many unknowns when I was diagnosed with UC. I have high days and low days, but it has all really challenged me to lean on God’s understanding and not my own. I’ve had to look to and depend on him for my peace and strength on this journey. It’s what inspires me to write these songs” says Sims.
The heart behind Ke’Erron’s music is to tell stories of God’s selfless, life-giving love and that life is truly better with Jesus.

In 2021, Ke’Erron got married to his beautiful wife, Kemi Sims. He is currently working on a new studio project and will be releasing new music this upcoming spring.
